Next summer, Iberia Express will operate a twice-weekly service to Cork Airport from its Madrid hub.
From June 18 until September 16, 2016, Iberia will fly a two-class A320 aircraft between Cork and the Spanish capital on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays, flights will depart Madrid at 11.30, arriving in Cork at 12.55. In the opposite direction, flights will depart Cork at 13.30, landing in Madrid at 16.40. On Saturdays, flights will depart from Madrid at 16.00, arriving in Ireland at 17.25. The return will leave Cork at 18.00, landing in Madrid at 21.10. Silvia Mosquera, Chief Commercial Officer of Iberia Express, said, “Our customers will be able to fly from Cork to Madrid and onto other Iberia destinations at competitive prices. We will also make travel easier from Spain to Cork, which is a very popular destination for both tourists and Spaniards learning English.”
