Starting 8th January, 2015, Japanese airline ANA will increase the baggage allowance in economy class on international flights. Currently, only one piece of checked baggage is permitted in economy class, weighing up to 23kg. From January 8th, this will be increased to two pieces of baggage, weighing up to 23kg each, being allowed on board with no extra cost. The same baggage rules will apply to premium economy. Business class and first class will stick with the current baggage rules of two or three checked bags at a maximum of 32kg each.
