LOT Polish Airlines starts direct service to Tokyo

In January 2016, LOT Polish Airlines will start a new direct route between Warsaw and Tokyo. The route will be operated year-round with three departures per week and offers good connections to and from the UK. From Warsaw, flights depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 15:00, with flight number LO 079. Arrival at Tokyo Narita Airport will be at 09:20 the next morning. The return flight departs on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays from Tokyo Narita at 11:05, with arrival at 14:40. LOT’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be deployed on the route. On board there are 18 seats in business class (three rows in a  2-2-2 configuration with fully-flat functionality), 21 seats in Premium Economy (three rows in a 2-3-2 configuration) and 213 seats in Economy Class (in a 3-3-3 configuration). According to LOT, this will be the first direct route from Poland and Central Europe to Japan.
