For the first time in history, the American city of Tampa, located on Florida's west coast, will next summer become part of Lufthansa’s network of routes. The new route will commence on September 25th, 2015, and will be operated by five flights per week during the summer timetable, and four departures a week during the winter timetable.
The aircraft used will be an Airbus A340-300, with economy class, premium economy class, and business class on board, as well as space for 298 passengers. Tampa is Lufthansa's third destination in Florida after Miami and Orlando. The flight will depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, leaving Frankfurt at 11.00am and arriving in Tampa at 3:50pm. The return flight leaves at 5:20pm with arrival in Frankfurt at 08.45am. Flight time is just over ten hours.
