Malaysia Airlines signs deal to lease four A350-900s

Malaysia Airlines, which was recently rebranded as Malaysia Airlines Berhad, will lease four new Airbus A350-900 XWB under a long-term agreement it has signed with Air Lease Corporation. The aircraft will enter service from late 2017. 

The new A350s will be powered by Rolls Royce Trent XWB-84 engines and will be delivered between the fourth quarter of 2017 and the second quarter of 2018. The agreement includes an option to lease two more A350-900s and two A330-900neo aircraft.
