STELIA AEROSPACE has launched a new Business Class seat, which undoubtedly will set an entirely new high standard for comfort in narrow-body aircraft.

STELIA Aerospace, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the aircraft manufacturer Airbus, recently unveiled a new Business Class seat called the “OPERA”, which is specially designed for single-aisle aircraft.

Other highlights include:

  • A generous, high-resolution 20-inch display.

  • A private door for increased privacy.

  • A large meal table, stowed under the cocktail table.

  • Adjustable armrests and lighting.

  • Extra storage capacity, including storage for laptops or iPads.

Combining design and efficiency, this brand new seat is a major step forward for our industry, creating an enhanced passenger experience and high added value for airlines”. said Thierry KANENGIESER, Vice President Cabin Interior of STELIA Aerospace earlier in a press release.

There is a high probability that this cabin product may become a common sight on future long-haul flights in narrow-body aircraft. Airbus narrow-body aircraft, Airbus A321LR has become a popular choice for many airlines worldwide. And airlines, such as SAS and British Airways, intend to operate it on intercontinental routes.
