Nestled along a beachfront in

Phuket’s

idyllic Emerald Bay sits the popular Thai island’s latest luxury dwellings.

Opening on 2 November, the sleek and shiny

Rosewood Phuket

is set to challenge some of the destination’s well-established

luxury hotels

by bringing the high-end hotel group’s signature service to Southeast Asia’s sun-weathered shores for the very first time.

With its exquisite location along a 600-meter beachfront at Emerald Bay, Rosewood Phuket will offer paradise island-seeking guests a secluded beach hideaway akin to an intimate ocean village. The property’s innovative architecture with subtle Thai influences blends organically into a lush tropical landscape, while golden sands and glistening, crystalline waters complete the luxury island setting.

Each of the hotel’s 71 secluded pavilions and villas are spacious and feature floor-to-ceiling windows with serene views over the sparkling bay. They each feature comfortable furnishings crafted from natural materials combined with neutral colour palettes, subtle Thai influences and abundant natural light.

Many accommodations, including the gorgeous two-bedroom Ocean View Pool Pavilion, also open onto a private sanctuary of a garden terrace that features an infinity pool and relaxed outdoor seating overlooking the surrounding jungle and the Andaman Sea.

Rosewood Phuket is home to four distinct restaurants and lounges set against the stunning backdrop of Emerald Bay. Guests can enjoy authentic Thai dishes at the rustic, fisherman's village-style Ta Khai; Italian cuisine at Red Sauce; simply prepared seafood savoured at The Shack and a chic poolside ambience prevailing at Mai.

If all the lounging around in the sun is not quite doing it for you, the Asaya spa - new concept for Rosewood - will no doubt have you feeling incredible. The spa takes a holistic approach to wellness that includes lifestyle and nutritional coaching, fitness activities, alternative therapies and specialized healing treatments including Chi Nei Tsang, Reiki and sound therapy.
