Hong Kong-based Plaza Premium Group yesterday opened a Plaza Premium Lounge at Phnom Penh International Airport in Cambodia - the first independent airport lounge in the country.
Located on the mezzanine floor of the international departures area, the lounge, which has approximately 1,400m² of floor space and seating for 300 people, is open to all passengers flying out of Phnom Penh, regardless of airline and class. Prices start at US$35 (£24) for two hours. “This is our first lounge in Cambodia. We firmly believe our presence will enhance travellers’ experience at this airport in the wake of Cambodia’s booming tourism industry,” said Song Hoi-see, founder & CEO of Plaza Premium Group. The premium lounge offers a spa, food and beverage options, three shower rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi and multiple electrical sockets. There is also a private VIP room for 10 people. “As the pioneer and industry leader in providing premium airport services, we have a tradition of striving for quality excellence, delivering outstanding customer service to travellers, exceeding their expectation and complementing their pleasant and enjoyable airport experience,” Hoi-see added. The Plaza Premium Group will also open a premium lounge at Siem Reap international airport, expected to be opened by the end of the year.
