Plaza Premium have today opened its second lounge at London Heathrow, an arrivals lounge in terminal 2, which is available to, among others, passengers who arrive with SAS and Star Alliance. Star Alliance already operate an arrivals lounge in terminal 2, but so far only three airlines are contracted to use it - United, Air Canada, and South African Airways. The Plaza Premium lounge is open to all passengers for a fee, as well as those with a Priority Pass. The lounge offers the opportunity to take a shower and eat breakfast after a night flight, and is open every day from 6am-10pm. If you visit the lounge later in the day, there is hot food and a full bar on offer. The lounge also provides free WiFi, international newspapers and magazines, as well as multiple TVs. You can also book various treatments at the spa, such as a massage, with a treatment of 30 minutes costing £45, and a treatment of 60 minutes costing £80. Entrance to the lounge costs £25 for a one hour visit, this includes a shower, food, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. To just take a shower costs £15. The formal inauguration will be on December 9th, 2014.
