EL AL Airlines, the national carrier of Israel, has appointed Plaza Premium Group to manage its new King David Lounge at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 (T4).
Open between 11am and 11pm daily, the 150-seat lounge has been under Plaza management since the start of May. It is located close to Gate 3 in T4 and is described in a press release as "a unique venue for leisure travellers and business associates to relax preflight," with space to work, comfortable armchairs and restaurant-style round tables.
An assortment of refreshments are available in the lounge, as well as a buffet-style lunch or dinner with a selection of chilled and warm kosher items. The lounge also boasts a secluded First Class area serving exclusive delicacies such as smoked salmon. The King David Lounge offers exclusively Kosher snacks and is the only Kosher diner in London Heathrow Airport, Plaza Premium advised. Plaza Premium Group recently unveiled its arrivals lounge at T4 at the end of 2016, whilst a 90-room airport transit hotel, Aerotel, will open at T3 Arrivals next year.
