During the spring, Qatar Airways increased its services between Stockholm and Doha from 7 flights per week to 10. The route is now being increased further, with three new flights per week from December 2015, taking the weekly service to 13 departures.

The new departures will take off on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing from Stockholm at 21:25 and arriving in Doha at 14.30. This means that there are two departures every day of the week except for Wednesdays, when there is only one. The new services will operate during the winter season, until 31 March, 2016. All departures will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Christian Deresjö

, head of Qatar Airways in Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltic countries, said: "Due to high demand, we have expanded the route with three flights per week during the winter season, which is a clear reflection of the interest in Scandinavian routes. Since our operations in Sweden started eight years ago, we have demonstrated our commitment to the Scandinavian market by continuously improving the timetable. The expansion of the number of flights to and from Stockholm will allow Qatar Airways to continue to promote and facilitate the Scandinavian tourist and business opportunities on various markets in our extensive network." Additionally, the airline is increasing its Copenhagen-Doha route to 14 flights per week, two per day. This new schedule comes into effect on December 2, 2015, as was previously reported
