Radisson Blu will open two new hotels in Finland - in Helsinki and Tampere

In the beginning of next year, Carlson Rezidor will launch two new hotels in Finland. It will be two Solo Sokos hotels, located in Helsinki and Tampere, which will be taken over by Carlson Rezidor to become part of the Radisson Blu chain.

During the first quarter of 2016, Solo Sokos Hotel Aleksanteri in Helsinki will become the Radisson Blu Aleksanteri Hotel. The hotel is next door to the Alexander Theatre and has 151 rooms. The hotel also features a restaurant, Olipa kerran (Once upon a time), as well as a bar, gym, sauna and a conference area. Solo Sokos Hotel Tammer will also open in the first quarter in 2016 to become part of the Radisson brand. It will be known as Radisson Blu Grand Hotel Tammer. The 78-room hotel is located next to Tammerkoski beach and has three restaurants - Restaurant Tammer, Trattoria Tammerin Puisto, and Bar & Bistro Vihtorin Kirjasto. The hotel also offers a business centre, sauna and three conference rooms.
