SWISS Unveils Sophisticated New Amenity Kits

Swiss has just released a brand new range of amenity kits for its business class passengers.

The national airline of Switzerland has teamed up with Victorinox, a Swiss army knife manufacturer based in the town of Ibach, in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. (Note: A knife is not included in the amenity kits.)

The new kits are available in six sophisticated designs that will be rotated on board for the next three years.

They feature reusable amenities such as a passport holder, a travel toiletries bag, and “a high-quality metal tin that is modelled on the Victorinox suitcase design and can find further use as a pen or pencil box”.

There is also a toothbrush, toothpaste, lip salve, sleep mask, socks and earplugs.

This spring, premium passengers flying with Swiss on intercontinental flights will also be able to enjoy a menu created by Franck Reynaud, Michelin starred chef de cuisine at Canton Valais ski and vacation resort Hostellerie du Pas de l’Ours.

Highlights of the menu include gravad Valais perch with horseradish and yoghurt remoulade, served with absinthe-marinated cucumber, braised beef with Humagne Rouge sauce, and lemon sole with bouillabaisse sauce.
