TAP launches EconomyXtra

TAP recently announced that they will offer their customers a new cabin product - Economy Xtra that fills the gap between Economy and Business Class on their shorter routes. They recently implemented Economy Xtra on their longhaul flights that are operated by one of the company's new Airbus A330 neo.

Most important is the additional space. The seat pitch has increased from cramped 28" inches to more comfy 33".

Customers with Classic or Plus rates and Miles & Go Gold and Navigator TAP Customers are automatically differentiated and enjoy the superior experience offered by EconomyXtra. Customers traveling on Basic or Discount fares can purchase all benefits of the EconomyXtra product at the time of booking or at a later time, TAP states in a pressrelease.

TAP continues to offer all passengers traveling in Economy Class, in the mid-course, a unique beverage service, including quality Portuguese wines and to guarantee, from the client's choice, from a snack to a full meal.
