Thai Airways launch daily direct flights between Heathrow and Bangkok

Thai Airways recently celebrated the departure of the first Airbus A380 direct flight from London to Bangkok at Heathrow’s Terminal 2.

Passengers on flight TG911, the inaugural flight from London to Bangkok, were delighted to be greeted at the arrival gate with gifts of orchid corsages and commemorative key rings. The Airbus A380 is being deployed on the route.

, General Manager of Thai Airways International – UK, said, “This has been a great way to mark the UK’s first direct A380 flights to Bangkok, auguring a new era of travel in the UK. As always, we are immensely proud of our service and doubly so now that we are the only airline offering A380, state-of-the-art, direct travel between London and Bangkok.” TG911 departs daily from London Heathrow Terminal 2 at 12.30 and arrives at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 05.45 the next day.  TG910 departs daily from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 01.10 and arrives at London Heathrow (T2) at 07.15.
