The Luxury Collection is opening four new European hotels

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has added four European properties to its Luxury Collection portfolio. The expansion is in conjunction with a recent investment of more than $500 million by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in a restoration program throughout Europe.

The latest additions to the brand are Augustine in Prague, Caresse Resort & Spa in Bodrum (Turkey), Falisia Resort & Spa in Portopiccolo (Italy), and Grand Hotel River Park in Bratislava.

Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Prague (opened June 30) -

Situated in the Malá Strana district in the heart of the city’s UNESCO World Heritage centre and with over 100 rooms and suites. The hotel features a ballroom, four meeting rooms, fitness centre and spa.

Caresse, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Bodrum (opened July 1) -

84 rooms, suites and residences with panoramic views of the bay. Caresse offers five dining options including Glass and Glass Lounge, La Plage beach restaurant and a sushi bar. Facilities at the resort include a 17,000 square foot spa, a yacht (available for private excursions), indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness centre, as well as tennis and basketball courts.

Falisia, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Portopiccolo (opening July 18) -

Located in the exclusive Portopiccolo Sistiana beachfront development in northeastern Italy on the Adriatic coast. The resort offers 65 rooms and suites, a private beach with an infinity pool, two restaurants, a lounge bar, a spa and three meeting rooms.

Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bratislava (opening August 1) -

Designed by the award-winning Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat, the hotel has 231 rooms and suites, two restaurants and a lobby bar, an indoor pool, a fitness centre and spa, two ballrooms and five meeting rooms. Following these additions, and with more to come, The Luxury Collection is expected to surpass 100 hotels globally by the end of the year.
