In the spring, Turkish Airlines will begin service to three new long-haul destinations - Manila in the Philippines, Taipei in Taiwan, and Abuja in Nigeria. All routes offer good connections to and from the UK. The line Istanbul-Manila will begin on March 30th, with three departures per week. Departure from Istanbul will be at 01:00 with arrival Manila at 18:00. In the opposite direction, flights will leave Manila at 20:50 with arrival in Istanbul at 05:05. The route is served on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays by an Airbus A340. The line Istanbul-Taipei starts the following day, March 31st, with departures every day of the week. Departure from Istanbul will be 01:20 with arrival Taipei at 17:30. In the opposite direction, departure will be at 21:50 with arrival in Istanbul at 05:05. The aircraft being used will also be an Airbus A340. The line Istanbul-Abuja starts on March 3rd with five flights per week. Departure from Istanbul will be at 18:25 and from Abuja at 23:55. The route is served every day except Mondays and Tuesdays by a Boeing 737.
