Den 1 desember startet Cathay Pacific et samarbeid med Qatar Airways hvilket innebærer at man kan reise på en Cathay Pacific-billett fra Oslo, Stockholm og København med Qatar Airways via Doha og videre til Hong Kong samt det øvrige Asia og Oceania. Samarbeidet omfatter dessuten rutene fra Doha til Istanbul, Wien, Zagreb og Budapest.
