Discover Qatar, the destination management company of Qatar Airways, has announced the launch of its exclusive air tour, "Discover Doha by Air."
It offers a unique way to explore the captivating landscapes and landmarks of Qatar. This tour allows travellers to experience Doha's beauty from the comfort of a light aircraft.
Catering to adventurous explorers, Discover Doha by Air blends “adventure, thrill, and discovery”.
Each tour is organised to accommodate eight passengers in the air-conditioned cabin of a Cessna 208 Caravan. This single-engine turboprop aircraft, featuring large windows perfect for aerial viewing, ensures passengers can enjoy unobstructed views. Onboard headphones will provide clear access to the pilot’s in-flight commentary.
The 45-minute flight departs from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal, offering views of landmarks including Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone, Education City, Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, and Thakira Mangrove Forest. The tour continues over The Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village, and West Bay, concluding with flybys over the Corniche, National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, and Stadium 974.
The first tour is scheduled for 27th June and bookings can be made at discoverqatar.qa/air with tickets priced at QAR 710 (Euros 180) for adults and children over two years, and free for children under two.
Tours are available from Thursday to Monday, with both morning and afternoon options. Guests can also pair their air tour with Discover Qatar's return airport transfers to and from Doha International Airport Premium.
Additionally, passengers transiting for six or more hours at Hamad International Airport can enjoy this experience starting at QAR 850 (Euros 215), which includes private return transfers between Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport Premium Terminal.
