Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled a raft of new Business Class products and enhancements. The airline has revealed the new interior for its Boeing 787 Dreamliners that will join the fleet this year adding to the 39 Dreamliners it already operates.
The Business Class cabin will feature a new Suite – which will provide guests with a comfortable and spacious environment with added privacy provided by a suite door. The height of the suite has been further increased from the A350’s debut model, offering even greater privacy.
Each of the 32 Business seats has direct aisle access with the cabin designed in a 1-2-1 configuration offering comfort, convenience and privacy whether travelling individually or with companions. The seats recline to a fully lie-flat-bed 78”(198 centimetres) in length and feature a 17.3” (44 cms) 4K TV screen, Bluetooth headphone pairing, multiple charging ports and wireless charging, as well as plenty of storage.
The new 787 Dreamliner provides the latest in inflight entertainment technology including the option to pair personal phones and tablets to the screen and use as a remote. The aircraft also has high-speed Wi-Fi.
Etihad’s partnership with Armani/Casa has now fully rolled out across the airline’s Business Class cabins. The range features bespoke dining ware and soft furnishings designed in collaboration with celebrated international designer brand Armani/Casa.
The airline expects to take delivery of the three new Boeing 787 Dreamliners in this autumn.
Etihad Business Class
An elevated experience awaits Etihad Business Class passengers from the Abu Dhabi-based airline. Business Class passengers enjoy dedicated check-in and priority security stations. There is exclusive access to Etihad lounges with excellent international cuisine – including at London Heathrow and Washington Dulles airports, plus additional lounge access from partner airlines. A dedicated Etihad Airways Arrivals Lounge is available at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The onboard experience is outstanding, with attentive, personalised service. Luxurious and spacious fully flat Business Class seats have privacy doors and ample space and storage. Some aircraft have the latest Business Studios with central seats perfect for travelling with a partner or children. Gourmet à la carte cuisine and specially curated wine lists are served on demand and on a stylish Armani/Casa designer dinner service, and an all-day snack menu is available between meals. High-end amenity kits, designer bedding, high-speed Wi-Fi, and endless in-flight entertainment add to the comfort.
