Our ambition is to make SAS - Scandinavian Airlines both bigger and stronger: more aircraft, more routes, more customers.

SAS has tremendous potential. The brand has a strong Scandinavian identity, solid products and plenty of new generation aircraft. And its growth runway is enormous: SAS has only 15 wide-body aircraft compared to KLM's 65 and Air France's 100+.

Our plan is clear: we want to leverage the advantages SAS already has.

Unlock real network expansion opportunities thanks to seamless integration with Air France, KLM, Transavia and the SkyTeam members.

✈️ Provide better aircraft procurement costs thanks to the grouped orders and shared capabilities in revenue management and operations.

Leverage SAS's position at Copenhagen Airport.

Our goal is to empower SAS and provide the airline with the ability to grow bigger, while keeping its brand and its Scandinavian identity just as Air France, KLM, and Transavia kept theirs.

With SAS joining the Air France-KLM Group by the end of next year, subject to regulatory approval, we want to build a stronger, more competitive European aviation champion.

Med tanke på att han explicit nämner group orders känns det allt mer troligt att SAS kan få ta del av AFKLMs stora order på A350s (50+40 optioner) som är på ingång
